Last day

Today is the last day in Victoria. I was very busy to do packing. This afternoon, I,m going to go to the sea and farewell party. I'll enjoy them today.

Hello everyone.
I'm a little sad because I have to come back Japan.
I wantto improve English skill then.

Today,I got up at 7:40.It's late time
I usually attended a class at 8:30.
It's busy that I must prepare for a presentetion recently.

After school ,
I went to Downtown in Victoria by myself why I had no plan.

At night,
I took part in activity(swimming pool).

Second day of Vancouver

My last weekend in Canada was wonderful!! I had a precious experience there. We woke up at nine and had breakfast in our room. At ten o’clock we went to gas town. We terrified because of the homeless. In Japan the homeless are treated as there is nobody, but the homeless in Vancouver were very aggressive!! They talked to us and begged money. Of course, the homeless did not harm us but we felt scared so we run away as soon as possible.

We get back Robson Street and had a cup of coffee in STAR BUCKS and then took a walk, went shopping and had Japanese lunch!!!! It was soooooo nice. I missed Japanese food so I was really happy. J The most delicious food was MISO SOUP!!!!!!

In the ferry, I met Canadian family. They were very kind to us. They told us about culture in Canada. When Canadian go to elementary school, they can choose what language they learn. There are many choices for example Chinese, French, Korean, Japanese, and so on. The family had been to Japan and they said they love Japan. When I heard that I was very happy, I did not know exactly why. we said good-bye the family and we got back Victoria.

On the way to dormitory Manami and I talked with two men. One is from Saudi Arabia the other is from Brazil. They had worked in their countries and they came to Uvic to improve their English. We talked about soccer, culture, work(Brazil man worked in bank), religion and so on. There are many things that is new to me. I enjoyed talking with them.

Preparation for mid-way presentation

Now I am preparing for tomorrow presentation. It is important for our credits. This time our presentation theme is how to use our fund. Our group suggests using it for advance to global market, and conduct necessary action to succeed it.
We learned significance of stress and eye contact. Therefore I want to be careful that point in tomorrow presentation.

At the same time, I’m preparing for final presentation. We were assigned homework to examine company’s background and write on a word processor. It is very laborious work, but I think this is so profitable. Therefore I want to deal with this work actively.
When we finished mid-way presentation, we would start to prepare for final presentation in earnest. It is harder than present, but I cooperate with group members and want to succeed in final presentation.

We have business seminar after class in the morning. Since I learn various helpful things for my future from it, I ‘m looking forward to it so much.

I also enjoy a variety of activities. They are great chances to get on with students from foreign countries and very valuable experiences.

Live a full life in Uvic

Hello everyone!
this was eleven days on monday.
I'm so tired because I execise too hard last saturday and sunday.
I got up at 7：30.I had french fried potatoes, sausage and fruit for breakfast.
I went to class earlier than usual.
We took lessons from Mark and Paurett today too.

After school,eat lunch♪
I love when have a meal time.

And
I went to Downtown in Victoria.
I love too when go shopping time♪

At night, went to swimming indoor pool.
I have a gooooood today.

I'll strick EAP out!!!!!!!!!!!

An exploration of downtown

This was the first free Sunday, so I could sleep until eight. I am really happy to sleep for a long time because on weekday we have to get up early to attend a class. We had a breakfast in the late morning. I began to be accustomed to life in Canada and the food!!

After the breakfast REI, MANAMI and I went to down town by bus. The fare of bus is two doller and twenty-five, it little bit expensive but almost same as Japan. It takes about 20minits to go to downtown from Uvic.
In downtown, there was a flea market. There were many kinds of store like jewelry shop, the place to read one's hand, candy store, hot dog stand, and so on. We were able to enjoy to talk with shop assistant.
There is the big shopping center which is called THE BAY CENTER. The center was having a sale. So we really had a wonderful time!! And also we got many clothes!!!!
Then we tried to go to the supermarket which we saw the way to get downtown by bus on foot BUT of course we did not know how to get there. As I expected, we got lost ;( Our exploration was started!! We asked many people and walked walked walked.... finally we found the marketstore!! Every thing in the store is bigger than Japan.

At six-thirty we got Uvic and had super in cafeteria. And then I and friends played soccer!! I like soccer very much so I was happy :) And now I wrote diary.

Tomorrow, classes will start again!!!

Tea for Two and The Butchart Garden ♪

Today,we went to Tea for Two (visit local people's house program)
and famous garden，The Butchart Garden, at evening!5:30~11:00pm!
Why is it so late, because fire works are held there!(at 10:30 pm)
In Canada, daytime is sooooooooooooooooo long!9:00pm is so lightly(?)

Tea for Two, we visit woman who worked in goverment,she was so clever and good at homestay student's treat.
So we can spend precious time!I'm really happy♪
She lived in Oak Bay.(beautiful village or street)
Oak Bay is a fasshionable street and good at living.
We made raspberry and lemon peal scorn together,and walk around Oak Bay street
She has two big dogs,one is Ema, chocolate color rabordoll, she is cute.
Another is Kerry, she is clever and easy to get worry dog!but she is cute, too. :)

At 5:30pm, we went to The Butchart Garden.
There are a lot of beautiful flowers, and sooooo many people!
Finally,we can saw special fireworks and return home at 11:00pm.

Tomorrow, we gathered 5:30pm, and talk about our project, Rogers' Chocolate.
Rogers' Chocolate is famous chocolate survenir shop in BC.
We(selected 5 members )are think about this company, how to marketing to Japan.
It is the purpuse of this trip.

Now, I'm so sleepy now.zzz
